When you're a teenager, you have a lot of expectations for where your life is headed, and what will happen. Some things come unexpectedly. Carmen Russo never expected that the scrawny, curly-headed boy that she met when she was thirteen would become one of the world's most famous popstars, though she had a hunch. She never expected to see him again after their short encounter, though she always hoped.

But she always kept her eye on her estranged friend from her cosy home in Oxford. Then when she finally gets to see him again, she never expected what was to come.
